In the meantime it looks very elegant as an "ornament" on top of my bookcase.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7565279858815030729.post-11751711908024838212009-03-05T04:15:00.000+00:002009-03-05T04:15:00.000+00:00Well i think it looks just right. Sarah's absolutely right about the contrast of strength and delicacy and I wouldn't swap it for anything, so, well woven Hen! Thank you, it's just a delight and though not getting used for berries just yet, is still earning it's keep as a transport from all those little bits and bobs that are hard to carry upstairs when you don't have either hand to hold things with!

I love the plait down the side too - and though I suspect you may have had grander ideas, what better than to be able to hook a cloth to mop berry-sticky paws after a good rustle in the hedgerows?!The Shepton Witchhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13112727851345880405noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7565279858815030729.post-73096127098275461492009-03-03T10:14:00.000+00:002009-03-03T10:14:00.000+00:00I Love the basket.
