Basketry week, cont...

I was making a kisheen basket yesterday when Leo and I realised that we liked it as it was - with no border.

I'm tempted to put one or two other dried, decorative twigs in it, or dried opium poppy heads or beech twigs... hmmmm, I'll give it a fiddle and see.

It would work well as a plant holder too, with maybe one of those indoor jasmines or something. Mind you, I like it natural so maybe I'll just leave it as it is...

  1. Wow! I love it like that too. Simply beautiful.

  2. I'm right impressed Hen, it only seems a short while since you went on the basketry workshop. Might you be thinking of selling any of your wares do you think? x

  3. ~*beam*~

    thank you xx

The plan is to get to a point where I'm happy to start selling them!

Not quite sure how I'll sell them yet though. Folksy and Etsy maybe. But how would I post this basket?!

    I'll work it out!
