Hello and a warm welcome, my name is Hen. This blog follows my journey to finally fulfilling my lifetimes dream of building my own no-dig market garden and home in Devon. It's full of all sorts, scroll right down the links and labels on the left hand side to see if there's anything that interests you. I might take this blog back up.. a lot has changed!

Piccies of our land...
This is an example of the pasture at our land. It's quite acid (based on the flora and what our neighbours have said about the pH of their land!) The pasture has been part of an Environmentally Sensitive Area agreement for the past 5 years and so has had no fertilizer input or liming done (well shouldn't have anyway).
This is our meditation seat. On the wall in the middle of the picture it's quite comfy really. The view is out of this world, across our river meadow, down the wooded river valley to the moor.

So envious. I would love to have that much land to enjoy.
ReplyDeleteThanks for popping by my blog today and the help in identifying my pretty pink plant. Lovely blog, just off to read a bit more. xxx
ReplyDeleteI forgot to ask, are you a member of the creative living forum, can't find you on there????
ReplyDeleteCelt - It wasn't easy getting that land, it was positively painful! We're doing without a hell of a lot too so we can have it, a house for example. Not sure I would be envious quite yet!! LOL
ReplyDeletepixie - I'm badgerhill in the forum world! helloo!!
I'm blown away with the beauty of where you live.
ReplyDeleteWow. Annie, thank you so much for your comment. It's easy for me to get caught up in the 'not so fun stuff' I have to do for the land and forget to really take in the beauty of it. Sometimes though, it just sweeps me away. Very peaceful.
