Piccies of our land...

This is an example of the pasture at our land. It's quite acid (based on the flora and what our neighbours have said about the pH of their land!) The pasture has been part of an Environmentally Sensitive Area agreement for the past 5 years and so has had no fertilizer input or liming done (well shouldn't have anyway).

This is our meditation seat. On the wall in the middle of the picture it's quite comfy really. The view is out of this world, across our river meadow, down the wooded river valley to the moor.

  4. Celt - It wasn't easy getting that land, it was positively painful! We're doing without a hell of a lot too so we can have it, a house for example. Not sure I would be envious quite yet!! LOL

  6. Wow. Annie, thank you so much for your comment. It's easy for me to get caught up in the 'not so fun stuff' I have to do for the land and forget to really take in the beauty of it. Sometimes though, it just sweeps me away. Very peaceful.
