It took me all day yesterday but I finally finished it. I've still to make a lid for it, but for now, it's finished!
It's got 3 different weaves in it, a border and a follow on trac border. I enjoyed making it but was a bit knackered towards the end! Can't wait until I'm more experienced. Maybe then my thumbs and wrists wont hurt as much!
:)
A triumph Hen!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely linen basket, a real triumph. I am sure who ever its for will be delighted with it. Well done.
ReplyDeleteWow, a lovely creation. That will be spectacular for someone to have in their bedroom, and be able to look at it each morning. I love the texture of the different weaves.
ReplyDeleteHen, I've just found your blog and it's brilliant. I am in awe of your energy and your creativity! I shall enjoy browsing the rest of your site and look forward to future postings!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely Gorgous Hen! I really love the shape, and how the textures alternate, and even how the colours are balanced. Very visually stunning. Since we are in between homes now, our linen basket is a linen bag. :)
